Poet looked at him and debated saying more but she couldn't, she'd have to deal with it. She sighed and nodded,"you too...."she whispered as she reached for the door knob and turned it slowly. She had her back to him now and she finally opened the door,"I guess....I'll see you when you get time..."she muttered. She wondered if she made the right choice, but it was a little too late for second thoughts. She turned to look at him one more time and solemnly left the room. She shoved her hands in her pockets as she headed toward the staircase and hung her head slightly.

Irish felt his heart hurt a little at the look she gave him, but it was necessary. He wasn't ready for her to spend the night, at least, not right now. He smiled at her as he leaned against his door. "See you, Poet." He sighed, watching her until he could no longer see her before shutting the door.
