Brooke sighed. "I don't know." She told him truthfully. "My question is whether Goldie will ever trust us now." She shook her head slightly. She thought about the whole Goldie-Ophelia-Street thing. Street would go to any length to protect family, but Brooke doubted Street could beat Ophelia. Even with all of her friends backing her. She'd never seen Goldie extremely angry before, and she really didn't want to. She stared off into space as she thought.

Asher looked at his sister with sad eyes. "There's no way Street could ever beat Goldie. Unless they gambled again... Do you remember old Johnny Kade? That kid who Goldie beat up. He had to go to the hospital 'cause she stabbed him in the neck with pen." Asher shuddered. Goldie's temper was infamous. "I'm worried and scared. Something bad's stirring and I know it's gonna blow up. First Killer and all that and then Eli and now Goldie..." Asher shook his head slowly.
