Abby looked away from Spade. "I guess." SHe said. She looked back up at him and said with complete seriousnes, "But Jacky will beh back. I know it." She put an arm around Spade waist and smiled at him. "Let's go do somethin' tonight." She suggested. She hadn't been out to do much in a while.

Spade looked at Abby and led her back toward the doorway of the Lodging House,"Wanna go ta Irving hall and catch a show?" he asked her softly as he stepped out of the lodging house and led her down the street, he was glad to be with her, no matter where they were, and he was happy to please her so whatever she wanted, he'd do.

Abby shook her head. It was the day before the wedding, that place would be busy. "Nah. Let's let's go to dinner or somethin' or we can go to the park. I don't care." Her eyes sparkled, she loved being with him. No matter where they went. And besides, she didn't want to be anywhere near the Hall until she had to be.

Spade nodded at her request and he thought for a moment,"We could take a long walk to Brooklynn and get a drink at lannigans or we can just go up to Tibby's, get some food and then take a nice walk in the park," he suggested softly to her. He looked over at her and smiled genuinely, he loved the way she smiled, the way her eyes sparkled, he was glad to have her to love and protect her.
