She could feel her heart racing as she stood, looking at herself in the mirror, the rooms backstage definately came in handy today. Poet looked over her shoulder as Ace and Kitten came into the room, both girls looked lovely in their green dresses. "Where's Abby?" Poet asked as Ace rushed over to the rack of clothing and pulled the hanger off the rack that held Poet's gorgeous wedding gown. "I don't know Poet, but I'm sure she's on her way,"Ace replied calmly, she knew that the last thing Poet needed was this day to be ruined in any way. Ace and Kitten helped Poet into the gown and forced her into a chair after they had laced up the back. "Don't worry Poet we'll make sure everything goes smoothly,"Ace assurred as she and Kitten messed with Poet's hair.
Poet pushed the girls' hands away after they had finished putting her hair up in a pretty complex way of curls and flowers and she turned to look at them. "I'm fine...it'll be ok, but I need ya two to go do a few things for meh,"Poet told them. Ace and Kitten looked at her expectantly awaiting her directions. "Ace I need ya ta go make sure Irish is hereh, Kitten I need ya to go make sure Hunter,Spade and Buttercup got their tuxes and make sure everythin' is goin' ok with them,"she told them, her voice obviously held nervousness."30 minutes til I walk down hat aisle...everything has to go ok,"she told them before watching them disperse to carry out their duties.
Kitten found the side room that the boys were said to be in and she knocked on the door, soon enough Hunter answered it,"Heya Kit,"he said with a smile on his face. Kitten grinned,"Hey, everythin' ok? I see ya got yer tux, are Spade and Buttercup in there in their tuxes?"she asked. Spade soon appearred at Hunter's side, dressed in his tux as well,"everythin' is fine Kitten, we're just getting Buttercup's tie fixed,"he assurred her with a smile. "Have ya seen Abby?"he asked her. Kitten shook her head,"Not yet, I thought you would've seen her Spade, she's yer date,"Kitten muttered. Spade grinned,"yes that she is, but we agreed to show up seperately fer Poet's sake of gettin' everyone ready,"he said as he ran a hand through his hair. Kitten nodded,"I see, ok well we're on in 30 so get yer hind ends together and out in yer seats asap,"she told them before turning to go check on the seats and see if she could find Asher and the other girl to see if they were ready as well.
Ace looked around the main room and had heard from Lucky a moment ago that she had seen Irish come in not too long ago, so Ace began her search at the bar but ended up at one of the other backrooms where Irish was supposed to be collecting himself. She knocked on the door and awaited a response from the groom.

Irish was, for lack of a better term, freaking out. He was wringing his hands, pacing the room, and muttering under his breath wildly. Sean, wide-eyed and slight scared by his cousin's nervousness, was following him around, trying to get him to put on his tie and jacket. Sean finally managed to grab him and force him into the suit's jacket when there was a knock on the door. "Don't move." He ordered, Irish nodded grimly, a little green. Sean opened the door to find Ace. "Hey, he's gettin' ready now, Oi'll take care of it, don't worry. Oh and..." he bent closer to the door, lowering his voice. "Make sure Poet doesn't freak out to much, Irish is doin' it enough for both of 'em." He winked and quickly shut the door, hearing someone enter behind him. Of course it had to be Levi.
Levi sauntered in, feeling very good. Last night, they'd taken Irish out for his last night of freedom (paid for by Asher, of course) and though Irish hadn't drunk much, Levi had woken up on the floor of the Harlem lodging house, not quite sure how he'd gotten there. He knew Asher would be miserable that morning, he'd had to much to drink, for sure. But Asher would be performing with that blonde girl...
Asher was on the stage, behind the curtain. He was having problems with his tie... He never could get it right. He didn't know where Natasha was, but he had no time to look. He had to get dressed then play the piano that would announce and accompany Poet down the aisle.
Goldie entered by a side door and tried to avoid the little room where the most the Thing had happened. She didn't want to come, but that little psycho Street had 'persuaded' her. She slunk off to find a seat in the back and glare at anyone who came too near.
Miss Sugar came in cheerfully. She felt wonderful. She loved weddings! The dresses and the dancing and the friendship. She shuffled over to the stage and tried to see if she could see Asher, she was fond of that boy. Such a lovely face and an even lovlier voice...
Street walked along the wall, trying to avoid Levi and Mush. She did not want to deal with this. If anything, she wanted to see Poet and Irish get married, enjoy Asher and Natasha's show, then eat her first meal for two days. She was starting to wish that she'd found shoes, but Irish knew her, and knew it was not possible.
Henri walked along with swagger, he was feeling like he was on the top of the world. He had met up with Mercutio, the man who owned the store with the lovely blonde who worked there (but she was pregnant, he wasn't going there). They shared a few jokes, got a drink, and waited.

Abby was hanging out backstage with Brooke. They were helping Asher get his tie on straight. She didn't have her dress on but Brooke had helped her with her hair. She saw Kitten hurring toward them and stood up straight. "Uh oh." She breathed. She smiled as Kitten came closer. "I'm on my way. I was just helping Brooke and Asher." She gave Brooke a small smile and followed Kitten to where the bridesmaids were dressing.
Natasha rushed towards Irving Hall. She ran in and to the stage. She went behind the curtain. She glanced once at Asher and a girl but paid them no attention. She ran upstairs and changed into her dress and fixed her hair. She came back down stairs relieved she'd made it in time. She looked over at Asher and smiled. She walked over to them. "Sorry i'm late y'all." She gave an apologetic smile.
Chase walked into the Hall with Mischief. He didn't see anyone except for Goldie sitting down. He motioned for Mischief to follow him to the seats. He led her to the middle of the rows. "Pick any seat ya want." He winked at her.
Justin followed a blonde couple into the theatre. He watched as they sat down. He wasn't sure where to sit. He looked around, figuring he'd sit near the back. He saw a girl in a gold dress, he smiled at her but it soon faded when she glared at him. Ok.He thought. I'm sitting in the front.

Snoop walked in quietly, looking for Henri. She tried her hardest to look good, and she had to scrounge around a little for that. She had a head tie around her head, which was doing a pretty good job at keeping her hair in place, and had put on one of the necklaces that belonged to her mother. All in all, she thought she had done a good job. She weaved her way expertly through the crowd, wishing that there weren't so many groups talking. But of course, it was probably even more crowded for everyone who wasn't attending.
Finally spotting Henri, she walked over to him, and looked him over. Well he definitely looked better than her. "Hey," she said, waving a little at him, "Guess I actually kept to my promise and came." she laughed a bit nervously, offering him a half smile. Snoop wasn't exactly the girl who could smile, she was more the can who had been able to, then lost it, and tried to regain it. She looked around, noting every detail, "Irish and Poet invited a lot of people," she nodded her head, "I bet at least five of them who act like they dont know eachother, know eachother."

He had been gone for quite some time, dissappeared without a word of goodbye first, but he had known Ace and the others would be able to hold up without him for awhile. He had come back from Santa Fe two days ago, but kept a low profile for abit and when he got word of the wedding, he knew it'd be the perfect time for a reappearance act. Slipping through the back door quietly and avoiding anyone's attention, Jack found the room Poet occupied and he slowly opened the door and slipped inside before any of the bridesmaids could return. He smirked and locked the door behind him as he leaned his back against the door and looked at the back of the bride.
Poet sighed softly and looked down in thought as she heard the door, thinking it was one of the girls,"Ya think ya can get meh some water?"she asked. At this Jack smiled and laughed abit,"I could if ya realleh want meh to, but wouldn't ya prefer a hug Poet?"he asked as he watched her head whip around and he flashed her his signature smile. "JACK!" she practically yelled in excitement as she hopped out of her chair and practically flung herself into his arms. Jack smiled as he wrapped his arms around her and burried his face against her forehead,"Ya miss meh that much?"he whispered to her. She smiled and nodded as tears began to swell up from her eyes and she burried her face in his chest,"Of course I did.."she muttered through her tears of happiness.Jack pulled away from her and wiped her tears from her eyes,"Why are ya cryin' Poet?"he asked her softly. She looked up at him,"Ya scared us Jack...we thought ya were gone fer good this time..."she mummbled.
Ace and Kitten had made their way back to the room and went to open the door only to find it locked. "Poet what's going on!" Ace hollered banging on the door, Kitten watched Ace, "Should I get Irish, maybe she's choking up," Kitten asked. Kitten looked over at Abby,"Go get Irish," Kitten told her,"he's three doors down the hall,"she added.
At the sound of the urgent knocking, Poet ignored it as Jack looked down at her,"ya know meh, I always come back Po'.... only thing is I neveh expected so much ta change while I was gone...yer gettin' married to him? When I left ya were still stuck between a rock and a hard place, stuck between meh and him now yer full hearted into this..."he said as he ran his hand through his hair roughly and sighed abit,"I wish ya the best Po' ya know I do, and he's a damn lucky man," Jack told her softly as he brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "Jus'...fer my sake an' everyone elses, don't let him change ya,"he muttered. Poet didn't know what to say, what to do, how to react...this was all too much to handle, she wasn't going to back down, she loved Irish and she was going to marry him in 20 minutes....she was going to mother his child, they were going to live with Sean and his bird and maybe a dog, she stepped back and walked turned around heading for the corner as she kept her back to him, she felt sick, her stomach turning and she could still hear Ace banging on the door,"Jack...ya may wanna unlock the door,"Poet muttered as she looked down. Jack contemplate for a moment,"give 'em a few more minutes ta freak out, it's abit amusing,"he told her as he watched her carefully, she didn't look to good.

Hawkeye walked into Irving Hall with Hope on his arm and most of Harlem coming in behind him. He picked out seats for the two them near the front as the rest of his borough spread out, some to find seats, others to get much needed drinks. He kissed Hope on the cheek and said, “I’ll be right back,” before leaving in search of the wedding party. Once back stage he ran into lots of people he knew, but none of the ones he was looking for. Finally he saw Abby and Irish hurrying toward Medda’s dressing room (which he assumed was where Poet would be getting ready) to join the people standing outside, banging on the door and calling for the bride-to-be.
He hurried over and, after a quick spit-shake with Irish, bent down to quickly pick the lock. As the door swung open, it revealed a shaken looking Poet and a very much alive Jack Kelly. Recovering quickly, the Harlem leader tuned out the reactions of those behind him as he walked toward his old friend. His jaw tightened and he glared at Jack, growling, “You sonuva bitch.” Moving with speed born from years of being on the streets, Hawk lunged forward and sucker punched him right in the face, knocking the Manhattan leader into one of the dressing tables.

Irish stood in the doorway, very confused. Poet was standing in her wedding dress, behind locked doors, with Jack Kelly? He took a deep breath, trying to overcome his sudden desire to punch somebody. "Oi guess they're right. Seeing the bride before the wedding is bad luck, eh Jacky?"
Sean had followed Irish, annoyed by the fact that Irish still did not have his tie on. But he did not mention it as he looked upon the scene. "Uh oh." Sean muttered before disappearing back down the hall. This certainly wasn't good. He shooed Levi back down the hall and thought about finding Street and the other leaders, but thought better of it. That wouldn't help. So, he found Henri instead.
Henri was overjoyed by seeing Snoop. "Ah! Snoopy, I love your dress, it suits you wonderfully!" He kissed her palm, then both cheeks. "Here, have a drink." He turned when someone tapped him on the shoulder. Sean. "What do you want?" Sean whispered it in his ear. "Poet and Jack? And Irish saw?" Henri smirked. "Look like today's gonna be fun, eh, Snoopy?" He winked at her.

Poet turned around when she saw Irish and her eyes welled up with tears when Hawk's fist collided with Jack's jaw. "STOP! Everyone STOP!" she cried. She was shaking, she did nothing wrong it was all a misunderstanding. Jack looked at Hawk and was extremely confused,"Jesus Hawk, I take it ya didn't miss me?"he joked as he watched the scene unfold and the second Poet screamed out and began to cry he turned back and looked at her,"crap," he muttered. He looked at Irish,"I swear nothin' happened she jus' started gettin' nervous and then you guys busted in here,"he explained. Poet looked at Jack sternly,"Look I may not be leader any more but shut up!" she yelled. The room went silent and Jack looked confused, when did she drop her position as leader? he asked himself. Poet eyed everyone and to everyone's surprise she looked over at Jack,"Out, now get out, go find a damn seat but leave the room..."she told him. Jack was shocked but turned around and pushed passed Hawk and Irish out into the hall to find a seat.
Ace grabbed Kitten by the arm and her eyes fell on Hawk, she wondered who he had ended up coming with... She tilted her head pushing the thought aside as she dragged Kitten to the door,"let's go,"she muttered. Poet looked over at Irish then to Hawk and the rest that had seemingly congregated,"leave me with my fiance, please,"she requested as she calmed her tears.
Hunter, Spade and Buttercup had gathered outside the dressing room door and when Jack had emerged from the room Hunter followed him and Spade walked up behind Abby,"what happened? is Poet ok?"he muttered.

She blushed when Henri kissed her, but when she heard what was going on, she nodded, "Wow, didn't see that one coming," Snoop looked over at Henri, smirking, "Oh yes, seeing as how much drama is going on, this will be fun. Hold on one second, I wanna go see this." she didn't even wait for his answer, and started walking over, weaving her way through what was going on. Jack was back, she crossed her arms and leaned against a wall, watching as Jack got kicked out, and everyone started leaving, she started walking back slowly, listening in. When she was sure she'd heard enough, she jogged back to Henri.
"Cowboy's back, and he was with Poet in her room with the door locked, now Poet and Irish are gonna talk 'bout somethin'. I dont think it'd be wise to go over there at the moment," Snoop said, a little out of breath. This would definitely be good, but still... Jack was back. That was news by itself. Maybe it wasn't her job to go snooping, but she still knew. If she told anymore she had a feeling everyone would be listening in, and that would definitely not be good for Poet and Irish.

Hawkeye felt bad for shaking Poet up like this, but it wasn’t in him to apologize for doing something that needed to be done. Jack had disappeared for months, without even a word, then decided to show up on Poet And Irish’s wedding day? And to top it all off, he decided it would be a good idea to lock himself in with Poet, who’d only recently been able to get over her feelings for him and fully commit to Irish? It all made Hawk’s blood boil and he glared at Jack as he walked past. When Poet asked to be alone with Irish, he nodded at her, put a hand on his second's shoulder, and then exited the room, giving a weak smile to Ace and kitten. Ten minutes ago he would have done more than just smile, but things had changed and he just wasn’t in the mood anymore.

Irish gave a small smile to Hawkeye as he left and then turned to Poet. "So, ye weren't doin' anythin'. But what in yer right mind made ye think ye could lock yerself in a room with him? Grow up, Poet! I ain't dumb ye know, I know how ye felt about him. It's our weddin' day, think about how it looked. No matter what ye did or didn't do, it still looked at certain way. Is this how ye want to start off our life together, with a scandal? Isn't it enough that yer already pregnant, do ye need people to think that the baby might be Jack's?" Irish placed his hands on his hips, quite tired of Jack Kelly.
Henri tried to follow Snoop, but Mercury held him back. He was relieved when she came back. "So that's what's going on, hmm? Well, I am starting to enjoy this wedding." He smiled. "Here Snoopy, take your drink. And don't make up any excuses to run away, because tonight, you're not getting away from me!" He grinned, handing her her drink again.
Sean quickly got caught up in what had happened. He shared it with Street, Levi, and Asher who had finally put on his tie. Goldie happened to be listening in. "I'm not surprised." She said. "If it was anyone but Irish, I would make her see reason. But honestly, Street," She didn't like the little blonde freak. "I was hoping to see your horrible sister here. I still have to pay her back." Goldie smirked meaningfully. She had heard rumors of a group called the King's Cartel, and if they hadn't killed Eli, she would've joined long ago to have a chance at Ophelia Lexeme.

Poet looked up at him, tears still glossed over her eyes as she shook her head,"I didn't do it ok? I didn't lock the door, he did!" she yelled defensively as she gestured to the now closed door before dropping her hand. "I was sitting here minding my own damned business Irish ok, I didn't do anything wrong...don't you trust me?"she slumped back into her chair, unable to keep herself standing for too long in such an emotional condition with being pregnant as well and she rested her elbows on her knees and burried her face in her hands. "I want you irish, only you and you know this, I left my feelings for Jack behind a long time ago, before he took off.....I would never do such a thing to you,"she muttered as she slowly looked up at him, her eyes holding slight pain, everything was ruined....all her hard work made into a day full of surprises and scandal that she didn't even have control over. "You have to believe meh Irish please..."she whispered desperately.
Spade gently took Abby's hand and led her away from the door and back over toward where he,Hunter and Buttercup had come from. He stopped outside of the door and looked up into her eyes,"Are ya doin' ok?" he asked her softly as he brought his free hand to brush along her cheek,"I missed ya,"he whispered to her.
Hunter and Buttercup found their way to the stairs backstage and sat there awaiting Irish to come out to give them the ok that everything was going to be fine.
Looking around the main room, Ace saw Chase with a lovely blond girl...she assumed this to be Mischief, she felt a slight tinge of envy but she pushed it aside when her eyes fell upon Hope and she was sure Hawk had shown up with her. She turned and made her way to the bar,"I'm gettin' a drink,"she muttered to Kitten before leaving her sister's side to drown her sorrows subtly in a glass of scotch.
Jack looked up from his glass as Ace sat down beside him and ordered a drink,"Hey Ace...ya look awful,"he muttered to her. She looked up at him and tilted her head,"ya can tell?"she asked him softly. He nodded and watched the bartender give Ace her drink as he brought his drink to his lips. "When I'm close ta certain people I can tell..."he told her as he set his glass down. Ace rolled her eyes taking a long drink,"Ya were gone too long to undastand Jack, and now yer in fer a world of reality....things changed, I picked up yer slack, and I suffered fer it....ya can stay put now and clean up the mess you created cus I'm tellin' you this now Jack Kelly, You have alot of respect to earn back....and afta what ya jus' pulled back there, that respect level jus' dropped in alot of people toward you..."she muttered as she stood and took her glass in her hand. "I neveh thought you'd have to earn my trust and respect back Jack...guess I was wrong,"she muttered turning her back for the first time on him to go find someone else to talk to.

Irish patted her back. "I believe you. I do... Now... Shall we get married? I mean, I know it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding, but I still cannot wait to get married." Irish held out his hand, waiting for her to take it. Sean heard this and ran to the stage.
"Asher! Natasha, start the music, they're coming!" He said. Asher scrambled, tripped, but regained his balance and started pounding away at the piano. He beat out the usual wedding march.
Street clapped her hands in expectation and ran to her seat. She was joined by Levi and Miss Sugh. Goldie snorted in derivisment and folded her arms. She was not going to stand for anybody. Henri turned to Snoop. "Ready Snoopy? I got us some good seats up front." He took her hand and led her to said seats. He saw Mercury settle down not far away.

Poet took his hand and she stood wiping the tears from her eyes with her free hand,"Of course I'm ready...." she said softly to him as she looked into his eyes. She kissed his cheek briefly and she followed him out of the room, this was it.
Hunter and Buttercup looked up when Sean rushed out and the two jumped up following him to the main room and they made their way to their seats. Hunter stood beside Buttercup toward the back and he watched as Jack came and stood on Buttercup's other side. His eyes drifted over to Street through the crowd, she looked beautiful, he felt bad that he had been so busy lately that he hadn't been able to talk to her since the ball. Hunter's attention was adverted to Ace when she and Kitten headed to take their places at the front of the setup alter, Ace looked extremely upset and flustered, he wondered what was wrong with her, he figured he'd talk to her about it later.
Standing at the front on the left side beside Kitten, Ace looked down the aisle her eyes drifting across toward the people who had hurt her in her life, Hunter...surprisingly he was alone but she could see he was looking at Street... Spade who now stood in his spot his eyes gazing lovingly up to Abby who was on her other side by now, Chase...holding onto Mischief's hand like they were meant for each other and lastly...Hawk, he had not hurt her as the rest had, but it still hurt to see him standing beside Hope. She ignored her inner feelings and let a smile cross her face, that typical smile that she had always hidden her true feelings behind and she let her gaze settle over on Jack Kelly, he had hurt her as well now, leaving and thinking he could return like this and everyone would welcome him with open arms? He was crazy....she took in a breath and adverted her eyes back down the aisle expectantly awaiting the couple that would walk down it soon enough.
Mischief stood beside Chase squeezing his hand gently every thought consuming her was that of what Ryder and Shadow and even Tybalt had thought of her now...she would have to kill this man that stood beside her holding her hand as if she were the world to him. She looked down and tried to push the thoughts away.
