Abby looked at his face. He was being honest when he said he'd protect her with his life. Did she mention she loved his accent? She thought it was the most adorable thing in the world. She grinned at him. "I'm glad. I like knowing i'm safe with you. I'm sixteen." She hoped age wasn't a big deal for him. But who cared? It was only a little over a year. Honestly there were worse people out there.

Irish shrugged. "Oi'm only human, so there's only so much Oi can do... But..." He grinned suddenly. "Oh look! Asher's gonna sing again! Oh no..." He ducked down under the table, dragging Honey with him. "We'll just sit under here a bit, eh? See... Levi somehow met up with Sean... and he was pointin' over here. Oi saw 'em go on stage with Asher..." He peeked up at the stage and saw something that astounded him. Asher, Levi, and Sean were standing on the stage together, and who else was there but Street and her hoity-toity sister Ophelia...!
Everyone he didn't want to be there as he (techinically) cheated on Poet, was there. And now... They were looking for him. Now Moira was there, and Asher seemed to be ignoring her while Levi and Sean laughed... He wondered why. Now Levi was whispering something to Street as he bent over and kissed her cheek.... Stop! What was he missing? Irish had all but forgotten Honey.

Honey tugged at Irish's sleeve like a five year old. "What's goin' on, Irish? And why is we sittin' unda the table?" She poked her head around the table and looked on the stage where Irish was staring. She looked just in time to see one of the goils get kissed, on the cheek, by Levi. The more she looked the more she realized she had no idea who those people were. Well, except for Levi and Asher.

Irish put a finger to his lips. "Oi don't want those people up there to see me." He pointed toward the stage. But it was unnecessary. Street could get anything out of Levi, and now, the tablecloth flicked up and Street's grinning face was blinking at them.
"Hullo, Irish. Missis. I like ta sit unda table too, sometimes." She said.
"Don't be an idiot, Street." Levi snickered. "Irish is hidin' from us."
"Oh, why? 'Cause ya're here with this goil instead of Poet? Don't bother me none. Yer seventeen, yer an adult."
"Quite right." Ophelia added from somewhere. Irish could only see her fancy shoes, next to Street's bare feet. Levi's mocasined feet shuffled uncomfortable as Street dropped to her knees. "Not your new dress Rosalind!" Ophelia screeched. She leant to Levi and said, "Like a child, really."
"Tell me about it. She won't leave me alone."
"You should not have kissed her, then." Ophelia said, Levi laughed and Street smiled. She scooted real close to Honey's face and said,
"Who are ya?"

Abby lifted her chin slightly. Living on the streets all those years had made her stronger than that. "Me name's Abby. But people call me Honey. Ya can call meh what ya want." She crawled out from under the table and stood up straight. After dusting herself off, she looked around at the people surrounding her. There was Levi with his awesome Indian shoes, The girl on her knees in a pretty dress called Street, and another pretty girl in another pretty dress whom she didn't know. Irish followed her from under the table. He looked around kind of sheepishly, like he didn't know what to say or do next.

Street grinned. "Hello, Abby. My name's Rosalind Love Lexeme-more commonly referred ta as Street. This here is my sister Ophelia, ya of course know Asher and Levi." She said, pointing to each person as she announced them. She climbed out from under the table and stumbled a little.
"Did ye give her somethin' to drink?" He demanded of Levi.
"Nah, Street's only had one drink in her life and you were the one who forced it on 'er." Levi sniggered, Ophelia looked at him with slight contempt.
"It was all because of you, Levi Akecheta." She sniffed. Asher's eyes darted from face to face. He moved closer to Irish, sensing a storm.
"Okay, look. Oi'm just sittin' here, talkin' to Abby, Oi don't need all of ye," he pointed in their faces accusingly. "-babysittin' me, ye hear? Now, get gone."
"But... Irish..." Street started, slightly hurt. "I haven' seen ya in ferever. Don't make no difference ta me who yer with. I won't tell Poet. Neither will they."
"Yeah, we may be idiots, but we're not suicidal." Levi said, winking at Abby.
"Speak for yourself. I am neither." Ophelia said.
"Stop bein' stuffy, Feely. Sit down and just talk a bit. I bet ya and Abby have a lot in common." Street said persuadingly.
"Doubtful..." Levi murmured. He winked at Abby again and pulled up four more chairs for them to sit around the table. "Wish Mush was here... Then 'Mistress Ophelia' would get off my back." He snorted. Ophelia glared at him more successfully then Street had ever tried. Street just smiled and ignored them, Asher kept throwing weird looks at Abby.

Abby smiled when everything seemed to work out. Well everything except Irish still looked slightly ticked off. She shrugged it off. He'd get over it. She smiled at them all when they were introduced and they all sat down together. She snickered a bit when Levi was quieted by a glare from Ophelia. But she did become slightly uncomfortable when Asher kept looked at her like she had two heads. She tried not to show it. After about ten minutes of this she got tired of it though. "So what's up with ya Asher?" She needed to ask him what his problem was but she knew better than that. So, she made it into a different question. Incognito. She smiled to herself. She loved that word, but she never said it.

Asher jumped guiltly. "Oh um... I was just thinking that you're pretty... and well, I don't find girls pretty. I find others... pretty..." He glanced guiltly at Levi and Irish before fixing his eyes on her.
"Yeah, he didn't even find Moira pretty." Street said blithely, not noticing Asher seizing up her man. Irish and Levi hadn't noticed anything. Ophelia on the other hand... Now, her eyebrows were raised in questionable amusement.

Abby didn't blush for once but she did look down and smiled. "Well, thanks. Uh, i guess." She looked at Street, she didn't seem to notice anything but Ophelia on the other hand looked like she was trying not to laugh. Abby couldn't blame her. She'd seen Asher looking at Levi and Irish with adoring eyes, but she couldn't blame him either. They were both quite handsome. But, sadly, Levi was taken and it sounded like Irish was in love with some other girl. Just her luck.

Street moved closer to Abby. "Yer right Asher. She is pretty, I wish I was pretty like ya." She said admiringly. Ophelia snorted, she looked at Levi menacingly-he raised his hands in surrender.
"You are pretty, Rosalind."
Irish and Asher looked at Levi and he whispered quickly. "What, she ain't my goil! She just... stalks me?" He suggested. Asher shook his head. "Asher, you've gotten more action then I have lately. With guys and girls. Speakin' of which... How's your sex life?" Levi asked cunningly. Asher blushed and glanced at Moira (who was across the room) and then at Irish guiltily.
"Leave 'im alone, Levi." Street said dreamily. "I wanna talk ta Abby." She said, claiming a drink that turned out to be water.
Irish took it away and said, "How about ye go away?" He suggested, at the end of his rope. Street grinned at him innocently, his slight rudeness going over her head entirely.
"But why? We're havin' so much fun here!" Street said.

Brooke giggled. She was liking Street more and more. She looked at Irish. "What's wrong? It's okay. Let's talk to them for a while, then we can go somewhere less crowded." She touched his arm. She had a pleading look in her eyes.
She gave Street a once over. "I agree. You are very pretty Street. You shouldn't put yourself down so much." She nodded then smiled at her. She kept sneaking peaks at Irish. He seemed to have calmed down but he still looked angry.

Irish grumbled something, but did not clarifiy. Street grinned in hero-worship of Abby. She touched Honey's hair longingly. "Do ya wash yer hair everyday?" Street asked. "I wonder if I should try that..."
"If you did, your hair would fall out with shock." Levi snickered. Ophelia shot him and angry glance. Asher leaned over to Honey.
"Ophelia hasn't forgiven Levi since he stabbed Street a while back." Asher informed her. "Irish had to stitch her up."
Irish nodded, confirming this. Street grinned. "Wanna see the scar?" She asked excitedly.
"No one wants to see the scar!" Levi said angrily, standing up and storming away from the table.
"What's his problem?" Street asked.
"Levi had a hard time with one of his usual goils tonight. Couldn't get things started if you know what I mean." Asher said, draining a random alcohol drink. He looked at Sean drunkenly as he came up to the table. Obviously, it wasn't his first drink of the night. "You're lookin' good tonight..." He told him, grinning. Sean laughed.
"Easy, fairy." Sean laughed, but then Asher slapped his butt. "Hey! Stop it!" Sean said, pushing him away. "Oi told ye before and Oi'll tell ye again, Oi'm not gay!"
"But... I never see you with a girl..." Asher slurred confused at the turn of events.
Irish sighed. "This is why Oi wanted them to go away!" He said.

Abby started giggling at Levi's comment. Then, laughed when he got up and stormed away. And started crying she was trying not to laugh so hard when Irish's last comment interupted. "I'm sorry. But your friends are hilarious." She said still giggling. She saw the look on Irish's face and hiccupped herself back to normal. "Do ya want ta go now? We can it's not a problem." She touched him arm gently.

Irish glanced at her, slightly amused-at her, not his friends. "Yeah... But they can get annoying." He pushed Street's hand away gently as she reached for Abby's hair again. Ophelia was standing, looking down her nose at everyone who came near. Levi was talking to some friend of his by the bar. Irish pushed Asher's chair leg away from the table and the boy slid to the ground in a heap.
Sean blinked at his friend on the ground a couple of times and then bust out laughing. Street looked around and said, "Where's Broadway?" Then she looked under the table and found him, she too began laughing until the tears ran down her face. Even Ophelia had to hold back some giggles.
Irish grinned and looked at Abby. "Oit's all up to ye, Honey." He said charmingly, draining another drink as Sean tried to help Asher up drunkenly. They both kept falling all over each other. "Oit's gonna end in a fist fight between Asher and Sean..." He commented.
Sure enough, Asher went to far with his flirting and kissed Sean quickly. Sean blinked at him in shock and then busted him in the nose with his fist. Street laughed and pointed, while Ophelia tried to drag her away. Even Levi came over to watch. Asher rolled on the ground clutching his nose, and Sean leant over-concerned-but then Asher drew his fist back and sunk it into Sean's gut. Then, Levi gave a whoop of joy and leapt into the brawl, fists flying. Street cheered and Ophelia looked on in disciplined boredom. Irish watched with no emotion, use to as he was with violence.
"See? Oi was right..." He drawled slowly.

Though she was used to it, Abby's stomach still fluttered when Irish called her Honey. She stared off into space, thinking. Then as she came back to reality with a crash, Sean punched Asher in the nose. She didn't know why. Everyone was either laughing or joining into the brawl. She jumped up with a gasp. "Is he okay?" She was worried but she couldn't help her laughter. Once the laughter died down, they could talk again. "What happened?" She asked anyone that would answer her.
