Looks: Dark brown hair, closely cut, slightly curly. Dark brown eyes. Rounder face, very boyish.
Personality: Shy, but friendly. He tends to stay silent and only talks when absolutely necessary. He likes nature and is interested in flowers. Is innocent and naive, he does not understand that someone would want to hurt him.
History: Eli was born in 1891 to Julius Freeman and Abigail Johnson Freeman in LaGrange Georgia. Because of racial prejudices, his family moved north in 1896. Because of that, Eli has a slight southern accent. He goes to school whenever possible and when not going to school, he helps his family by selling papers or shining shoes. He prefers shining shoes because people don't really like to buy their papes from him. He is the youngest of six childern. Only five still live at home.
Other: Eli's father works in a factory, his mother does laundry and sewing for others in their apartment. His oldest brother lives and works in Chicago with his young wife and two kids. Eli's other siblings, two boys and two girls all go to school also, his brothers work like he does while his sisters help his mother and sometimes watch other kids and clean houses. Eli loves reading, especially gardening books. He loves flowers, has several dried ones in his 'special book' under his bed.
