Mischief ran a rag along the bartop as she awaited Killer's arrival, the pub had been closed for about an hour now and she had sent out Ryder to have Killer meet her here so they could start their mission for Tybalt. She finished wiping down the bar and she walked around tossing the rag in a bucket on the floor before she leaned against the bar from the bartending side. She looked around the empty place, Lannigan trusted her with this place, and she would never do anything wrong to this place, ever since he let her in and gave her the job and the room upstairs to stay in, she was greatful for that much. She sighed and looked down allowing her hair to drape into her pretty face, she still had the massive scar from her collarbone to her chest from the wedding. She sighed slightly as she looked down at her outfit, Lannigan had suggested she dress more lady-like and it was either one of those long ugly dresses the older women wore these days or a dress along the lines of a performer, she opted for the latter, a teal cancan looking dress, even though it revealed the scar almost entirely.
She shook her head, Killer would probably call her a whore, or make some snide remark of her being of wedlock which was untrue. She turned around and leaned over looking into the cabinet of liquor and checked to make sure they were all in the right order, she had nothing better to do while she waited for him.

Killer walked in, his mood already horrible. Tybalt had been harrassing him about the wedding. Saying it was his fault that he let Peep go, but really, Killer could not just walk into the wedding with everyone. It was not like he could talk himself out of things like Tybalt or Peep could. Tybalt was actually pleased with Peep. He'd established himself as someone trustworthy with the leaders. Too bad the boy was playing them...
Killer noticed Mischief with narrowed eyes. He did not want to do this. Why couldn't he just walk into the store and blow the guy's brains out? No, they had to kidnap him. "He has brats. Lexeme that is, he has three brats." Killer growled. He pointed lazily out the window. Sure enough, Mercutio Lexeme was walking down the street with Scarlett. She was pushing a pram that contained the new twins and he was holding Eliot's hand. Beside him was Ophelia, larger then ever. "So... Are we just gonna get them now, or wait?"

At the sound of his voice, she stood upright and turned around to look at him and she listened and when he pointed out the window, she saw exactly what he saw. She tilted her head and leaned against the counter again as she gazed out the window,"We wait....King wants it done right, I'm not letting this one end up like the wedding did...we wait til he's alone which isn't hard, he goes to see Lucky once a week, by himself, she meets him down by the docks...he walks right by here on his way to see her and on his way back, he leaves her there and he tells her he'll see her at work the next day..."she explained to him as she finally looked back over at him. She was simply speaking the truth, the facts, what he needed to know, she was not attempting to smart off with him any longer, there was no point. She tilted her head and looked him up and down,"Would you like a drink?"she asked him, he looked like he could use one....she figured it was because he had to work with her.
She didn't understand why they all seemed to have something against her, Ryder had the fact that she didn't apprecciate some of his work and he held that against her but he still protected her and tried to get with her, Shadow found her amusing but he did not like the fact Ryder fancied her, and Killer....she never really could understand his reasonings but the fact she taunted him in the past was probably enough. She tapped her fingers against the countertop as she looked at him still awaiting his response to the things she had just said, and her question of course.

Killer snorted. "It's always women." He grumbled. "That's the downfall of every man." He said pointedly. He stared out the window. "The wedding, yeah, about that. To bad they all know me, otherwise I would have just shot the kid right in the middle of the wedding." He shrugged. "I don't like all the secrecy that King's making us use. I like to go in talking and go out shooting." he mimed shooting Mercury and his family. He rubbed the back of his neck, looking sharply at her. "I don't drink. Especially not on the job. Last time I drank, I got inta a fight with King and he almost killed me. I done with that s***." He said firmly.
Killer looked at her. He hated women. That was it. He was not like that fairy in the Bronx, but he did not like women. They had made his father run off, they were weak like his mum, they tried to get him to commit sins. They had distracted Kingsblood and allowed Killer to kill the man he actually cared for. If Kingsblood had not been talking to that tart, he would've defended himself and Killer would not have been alone. In fact, he was still a virgin. He did not want to touch a woman. They would only cause him to be blinded to those around him and leave him open to their poison. It was a good thing King had him watching his back, otherwise, Satine would have done him in long ago. Killer snorted again and looked back out the window, leaning against a table.

She listened to him and nodded at his words, she understood what he was getting acrossed. She looked over at him and then over her shoulder at the emptiness of the place before glancing back at him,"I actualleh wish the situation could've been like that, he wouldn't have gotten away, and I would've ended up scott free without a single mark...."she muttered. She sighed softly before she pushed herself away from the counter and walked around it, grabbing a rag on her way and she began to wipe down the tables out of boredom. She knew the damage Ryder had caused her flawless skin had ruined it for life, she'd have that scar forever now, at least it wasn't in a completely bad place, it didn't ruin her looks all that much, but it made her more recognizable now.
She wiped off about four tables before she reached the one he was leaning on,"Mind movin' for a second?"she asked him as she looked up into his eyes. She wasn't going to be disrespectful toward him are mouth off like the boys would, she would be polite unless she was given reason to be rude or defensive. When it came to her job, yes she was merciless and there was no politeness to it, but otherwise, she wasn't completely heartless. She tilted her head looking into his eyes,"do ya mind?"she asked again.

Killer snorted. "Your own damn fault. Should've told Ryder and Shadow to take Peep and leave. They wouldn't have gotten involved, Peep wouldn't have convinced that girl to try and shoot you, and everything would've been over with. Those three need to be shot in the head." He growled. "In fact, every one of you need to be shot in the head, King, me, everyone." He growled.
"You want me to move?" He asked dangerously. "Don't take a tone with me, I ain't in the mood." But he moved anyway, leaning against a post. He continued to watch the Lexemes go down the street. "So, we're gonna knock him out on his way to the docks, or his way back?" He asked, yawning. He did not want to do this.

She tilted her head when he moved and she wiped the table off slowly,"I wasn't giving ya tone, and I agree with most of what ya think anyway, nobody should be livin' not us, not them, and it doesn't make a lick of difference human beings are cruel, I'm cruel, yer cruel we're all evil no matter if yyer the most innoccent person ever, yer bound ta sin..."she muttered in response to his comments. When he asked her what they were going to do, she looked over her shoulder at him,"Wait til he's on his way back, if we do it on his way there then Lucky'll suspect something happened to him, she's a smart girl....on his way back, he takes his time so by the time Scarlett suspects anything, we'll be long gone with him,"she assurred him what they should do, she knew her details and she wanted him to know she was serious.

Killer nodded stubbornly. He couldn't help it, she was right about waiting to grab Mercury. He completely ignored what she said before that. He was not going to get into a discussion with her. "So, you got the rope and stuff? 'Cause King told me you were handling all that. You're just lucky I showed up. Like I said, if it was up to me, I'd blow his brains out." Killer punched his open hand, jittery. He wanted to do something and do something now. "What do we do until then?" He asked quietly, not gently, he was just... Bored.

She sat down at the table by him when she was done wiping all the tables down and she nodded,"It's all behind the bar..."she assured him. She thought about his question as to what to do and she figured conversation was not an option. "I have a deck of cards....we could play poker or something, unless you would rather just sit around in silence and drown in boredom,"she said as she eyed him and pulled the deck from a small hidden pocket on her dress. She shuffled absent mindedly not caring whether he wanted to play or not, she'd continuosly shuffle to entertain herself if she had to.

Killer looked at her and the cards. "I'm gonna bet that you're gonna say 'Strip Poker', well, no go. We're gonna play Texas Hold 'Em and that's it." He sat roughly, swinging his chair out as he did so in one fluid motion. "Deal." he said, shaking money out of his coat pockets. Killer loved Texas Hold 'Em and not even a woman could deter him. "Do you know what time this is goin' down? 'Cause then we need to keep an eye on the street and the clock. I ain't gonna miss this target." He said bitterly. He was still not over the fact the Ophelia got away.

Mischief looked over at the ticking clock on the wall and hummed slightly in thought at his question, it was nearing 11pm, Mercury wouldn't pass on his way to Lucky until around 6am and he wouldn't pass on his way back until about 8am. She tilted her head as she delt the cards,"About 8 in the morning....we have 9 hours to kill, that's alot of bets,"she said as she looked at her cards and sighed softly. She didn't understand why he couldn't just come back in the morning, but King wanted things done right this time and in case Mercury was earlier than expected, he had to be here the entire time. She flipped over the top card on the deck and looked down at the Queen of Hearts that she had just flipped over,"Your call," she muttered.

((OOC: I don't know how to play Texas Hold 'Em. I was bluffing lol, so I'm going to wing it))
Killer looked at the clock sourly. "Nine hours? Oh, I'm gonna kill King." He growled. "I could've been sleepin' this whole time. Whatever. We need to stay awake and alert." He slapped his palm off the table, the sound echoed in the empty bar. He eyed the card warily. "Hmm... I'm going to bet." He said, throwing a quarter into the pot. "Unless you don't have a quarter." He said mockingly. He then swallowed anything else he was going to say. Was he really teasing her? But teasing was a sign of comaraderie. He glared at her, trying to draw up anger, but he couldn't. He did not see his mum or Kingsblood's whore in her. He just saw Mischief. He sighed and the fire went out of his eyes. "Your turn." He said with heavy defeat in his voice.

((ha me too it's ok we'll wing it, I know 21 lol))
She looked at him when he glared at her and it seemed to fade, she decided just to apprecciate the fact he was seeming to get comfortable. She put down her cards face down and got up, strolling over to the bar, she grabbed a jar of change from behind it and walked back over to the table and sat back down. The jar was full to the brim. "I get tips hereh, it's pretty nice..."she muttered to his quarter comment. She put two quarters in the pot,"I raise," she said picking her cards back up and flipping over the next card. She wondered if he had a good hand or not, he could be bluffing and she probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference. She tilted her head and looked at him with a slight smile on her lips, she was rather enjoying this, but she wouldn't let him know it.
"So if ya start ta fall asleep should I pour cold water on you?"she teased subtly, she knew she could stay awake for days if she had to, she wasn't sure about him.

Killer looked at the pot. "Alright. Another quarter." He threw one in, it clinked a bit. He looked at his cards. "Next?" he asked. Killer pulled his bag up from out under the table, he dug through it and pulled out a brown paper bag. Something was leaky from it. He turned it upside down, letting the food within fall out. Three sandwhichs, a loaf of bread, some jam that was leaking, and some candy. "This is mine. Don't touch it. Don't look at it." He said, his mouth already full of half the first sandwhich. He eyed her warily and then pushed a licorice wand her way. "That's all yer gettin'. King will be mad if ya go hungry." He looked at her angrily. "Don't go pourin' water on me if ya want ta live." he said dangerously.

Mischief flipped the next card over and when he pushed licorice toward her she tilted her head slightly but nodded and took it carefully before sticking it in her mouth as she eyed her hand, only one more card and then it was fold or find out if ya won or not. She listened when he spoke again and she gestured dismissively,"Theres food hereh anyway, don't worreh bout whetheh I eat or not,"she told him. She flipped over the last card, put three more quarters in the pot then put her cards face up on the table, 2 queens, a jack and an ace. She looked up at him wondering if he could beat her hand.
