Ophelia strolled along the docks, enjoying herself immensly. She had heard about Brooklyn... That is was the dangerous borough. That was exactly what she was looking for. She hadn't spent all day with her chaperone and given him the slip in the park for nothing. She was a thrill. And as she spied all the boys jumping off the docks into the water, she knew she had come to the right place.
Ophelia used her lace umbrella as a walking stick, her small wrist bag bounched cheerfully as she walked at a leirsurely pace down the docks. She hummed a classical piano piece she had spent most of the morning being forced to learn. How lovely! The sun was shining, and danger was in the air. Ever since her encounter with Mush, she had been living for danger-of any kind. She was tired of the silks and balls of high society. She wanted to live and love.
