She isn't the super tough girl you'd meet in Brooklyn, but she is tough. If you hurt her first she'll beat you. Most girls would cry out for a hero, but not Jing Mai, she was more the kind to simply hurt the guy who tried to hurt her first. Although tough, she does have a bit of a softspot when it comes to birds. She likes to watch them fly, and can’t help but feel jealous of them since they have the freedom to come and go as they please while she is stuck being tired day and night.

History:
Jing Mai was born the only child of a martial arts master, her mother dying shortly after her birth. So, ever since she could walk and talk, her father taught her how to fight. Kung Fu, Wushu, he taught her it in place of the sons he never had. Soon enough, at fifteen, she was good. Real good. But… she felt there was something missing in her life. It seemed that her ‘Happy Pappy,’ as anyone in America would have called him, was only interested in his daughter for her talent, and not her.
So, she hopped on a boat, hoping to go to California to start a new life for herself. But, she got on the wrong boat, this one going for New York. When she got there, she went to Midtown, and became a newsie.

She wears an off white blouse with the sleeves rolled up, along with a beige skirt, and whatever shoes she can find. Jing doesn’t like wearing pants much, only if she’s in a situation where she has too. If a Chinese holiday is coming up, she might dress for the occasion.
