Sunset((Abby))

[Spade]

The sun was finally gone and set by the time they reached the lodging house, he was surprisingly glad the wedding was over and that it hadn't ended as the Masquerade had. Spade led Abby into the lodging house and sat down on the couch in the living room type area and he gently pulled her into his lap as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "See it's these times right hereh when we're alone that I adore..." he whispered to her. He looked into her eyes and smiled as he kissed her cheek.

He couldn't have asked for a better girl than the one he held in his arms at this moment, he had always thought that he would never be able to let go of his feelings for Ace but now that he had Abby, he felt that she was the only one he could love now and he didn't want anything to happen to her. He rested his head on her shoulder and he sighed softly, he was still tired but he wasn't sure she was quite ready to go to sleep yet and if she was, he would have to whisk her off her feet and carry her up to the bunkroom.

Abby smiled when Spade kissed her cheek. She looked up when Chase and Ace entered the room. They went upstairs and Abby gazed lovingly into Spade's eyes. "I love these moments.." She said, her voice trailing off as she kissed him. "And i love you." She said smiling. "Ya gonna stay here for the night?" She asked worriedly. She didn't want him walking the streets at night alone.

Spade nodded gently at Abby's question,"Of course I'ma stay hereh tonight, Jack realleh don't care as it is huh Jack?"he asked as Jack walked into the lodging house and looked over at them.

"Like I told ya Spade, as long as yer up bright an' earleh ta go help Poet out, I don't care what ya do,"Jack mused before he climbed the stairs up to his private bedroom to get some much needed rest.

Spade grinned and looked back at Abby,"Shall I whisk you off yer feet and take ya up ta bed?"he asked her as he looked deep into her eyes. "Eitha that or we can stay right hereh,"he said softly.

ABby smiled and kissed Spade. SHe was kind of tired, but she enjoyed her time with him. She wasn't ready to say goodnight yet. "If yer tired, we can go. I wanna spend as much time with ya as possible." She smiled at him. She laid her head against his chest and sat like that for a while fighting to keep her eyes open. It had been a long day for her. She'd never done so much in one day before.
