(open) "Ain't it great ta be alive?"

[Asher]

Street looked at him and blinked. "Abby? Ya mean Honey. She only got here recently..."

"Yeah, either you've been saving yourself or nobody's wanted you. I'd have least thought Brooke, since you two were going together for so long..." Levi said. "Good work though." He winked.

"What did ya mean when ya said so many ya couldn't count?" Street asked Levi suddenly.

Levi back-tracked quickly, stammering and blushing. "Uh... I ain't good with numbers. Only two or three,"

"Thousand." Sean finished quietly. Levi kicked him under the table.

[Chase]

Mush laughed and gave Asher a thumbs up. He felt the need to explain himself. "Well, Honey was upset that Irish was gettin' married. She said she'd fallen too quickly. I think they started ta.. but then he told her he was engaged. And she flipped out." He shrugged. All he did was tell her it would be okay and there was someone out there for her. She obviously took that one the wrong way. He shook his head slightly and downed his second drink of the night.

[Asher]

Street shook her head. "I don't believe that. It doesn't just happen..." She said.

"How do you know?" Levi asked, Street blinked at him.

"Ya're always pre-planning it..."

"That's me-" Levi started.

"My sister too?" Asher asked Mush, ignoring the others.

[Chase]

Mush looked at Asher with an apologetic look on his face. "Asher-." He didn't know what to say. HOw did you tell someone's brother that you had sex with them? Mush took a deep breath and ordered himself and Asher another drink. "Ya ain't upset are ya?" He didn't want Asher to be angry. That's why Brooke wasn't the first name he said.

[Asher]

Asher narrowed his eyes. "No... But... Abby wasn't your first was she?" He asked. "Just tell me the truth. Please."

Street was still asking Levi questions as he tried to defend himself from her wrath, he wasn't getting much help from Sean-who kept telling the truth.

[Chase]

Mush looked ashamed of himself. "Nah, she wasn't. Brooke was." He looked back at Asher, biting his lip. He faintly heard Street bugging Levi and Sean who wasn't helping any. Mush couldn't laugh at that. Not when Asher looked slightly angry and hurt at the same time. Mush didn't think that was possible. Asher said he wasn't angry, but his eyes said something different. They weren't Asher's normal eyes.

[Street]

Asher raised his eyebrows. "Good, now I know you've got good taste." Asher laughed akwardly and then turned pointedly to Sean and struck up a conversation about vegetables.

[Chase]

Mush sighed, letting out a breath he hadn't known he was holding. He smiled guiltily at Asher and clapped him on the back. He turned slightly to the rest of the group. He heard the name Chase in thier conversation a few times. He turned to Asher again. "Who's Chase?" Where had he been the past few days? Under a rock? There was a new guy in Manhattan and he didn't even know his name!

[Asher]

Street laughed. "Chase is a boy that Asher met in jail."

"What a great way to met somebody." Levi said. "The boy's got an attitude problem."

"But he's hot." Asher pointed out.

"So he is." Street agreed. "What?" She asked as Levi threw her a look.

"Isn't he gay?" Levi asked. Asher blushed.

"Not exactly, but... I'm trying to convert him, but it's harder then it looks. I think he likes Street..."

"Why would he like her?" Levi asked.

"'Cause he thinks you're gay and I'm straight." Asher defended himself. Levi snorted. He looked at Asher in his tight pants and ruffled white shirt.

"He's stupid and he's got an attitude problem."

"But he's hot..." Asher said again.

[Chase]

Mush laughed with Levi as he looked Asher over as well. "Ya know, i don't usually say things like this but that guy is dumb. And i don't care if he's cute." He added as Asher opened his mouth to say something. He looked at Street. "Looks like ya have a secret admirer, Street. Ya best watch yerself Levi." He grinned, teasingly.

[Asher]

Levi flipped him off in reply. Street looked uncomfortable. "Why would anybody like me?" She asked.

"I told him you liked him. I wanted him to spend more time with me and the only way he'll do that is if he spends time with someone only I know to get to. And that's you. I'm his only connection to you..." Asher explained. Levi growled slightly.

[Chase]

Mush stuck his tounge out at Levi. Street's childishness was rubbing off on him. He moved away from Asher and towards Street. If Levi decided that Asher needed a black eye for what he just said Mush wanted to keep Street safe and stay out of the way at the same time. He wasn't worried for her safety that much. He knew the guys would never hurt her but she was the peace keeper. She always got into something and the scar across her midsection proved it.

[Asher]

Levi stood and nearly flipped the table over. "You faerie assed son of a b****!" Levi said, he jumped onto the table and kicked Asher squarely in the chest, sending him flying backward.

"Levi Akecheta!" Street cried, but he only whooped and jumped onto Asher, punching him in the face.

"My nose!" He cried. "Why is it always the nose?"

[Chase]

Mush held onto Street's arms so she wouldn't get into this rumble. "Just wait, he'll get out his anger somehow. If it gets too bad i can handle it. You stay out of it." He looked at Street straight in the eyes. She knew he meant buisness, but if you knew Street, you knew she was stubborn. Mush had a feeling she wasn't going to listen to her so he didn't let go of her arm. He looked at Levi. He hoped his attention span was as short as it used to be. Mush didn't want to fight today. Expecially after the Eli scene...

[Asher]

Street nodded slightly. Levi continued to beat Asher as Sean looked away pointedly. He had a feeling that Levi and Asher were going to stop being friends soon. Over a boy, too. Sean sighed and downed his glass, laid his head in his arms and fell asleep. He was soon snoring. Street had become bored and was staring off into space, her knees drawn up to her chest as the two boys rolled around under the table.
